Police nabs No. 2 most wanted person in Surigao del Sur

POLICE on Friday announced the arrest of one of the most wanted persons in Surigao del Sur following months of manhunt operations.

Reports at the PNP operations center in Camp Crame identified the arrested wanted person as Osting Lovola alias “Osting Loyola”.

Lovola was nabbed late Thursday afternoon by operatives of “Task Force Manhunt Charlie’ of Surigao de Sur provincial office at his residence in Sitio Cadium, Brgy. Cabangahan, Tago town.

The reports said Lovola was nabbed based on warrant arrest for murder issued on April 2008 by Judge Vicente Luna of Regional Trial Court Branch 40 of Tandag City.

Lovola, who is now in the custody of Tagop Police, is listed as the no. 1 most wanted person in the municipality of Tago and no. 2 most wanted persons in the province of Surigao del Sur.
