Three persons nab for robbing mayor’s construction firm in Iloilo

AUTHORITIES have arrested early Sunday three suspects that have reportedly broke inside a construction firm owned by a local official in Iloilo province, police reports said on Tuesday.

Belated reports sent by the Western Visayas police office to Camp Crame identified the three suspects arrested by the police as Ronilo Talagan, 53; Remus Estribor, 34 and Rene Alba, 59, all are from Iloilo province.

Regional Police commander, Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr., quoting reports said the three suspects were responsible for the robbery of YL Trading in Culasi town in Iloilo province.

The police official said that three were able to cart-away some P54, 860 worth of construction materials from YL Trading reportedly owned by Mayor Joel Lomugdang of Ajuy town.

The three suspects are now detained at the Culasi Municipal Police station while appropriate charges are being readied against them.
