Pinas, Indonesia magsasanib-pwersa kontra droga

MAGSASANIB-PWERSA ang Pilipinas at Indonesia sa pagsugpo sa ipinagbabawal na gamot at drug trafficking sa bansa.

Sa katunayan ay tatlong Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ang nilagdaan ng dalawang bansa o nilagdaan nina Pangulong Benigno Aquino III at Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Isa sa tatlong Memorandum of Understanding na nilagdaan ng dalawang bansa ay ang MOU sa pagitan ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Indonesia’s Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) on Cooperation in Combating Illicit Trafficking and Abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors.

Ang mga signatories ay Director-General of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Usec. Arturo Cacdac, at H.E. Mr. Anang Iskandar, Head, National Narcotics Board.

Ang MOU ay naglalayong i-promote ang kooperasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa upang labanan ang illicit trafficking sa narcotics, psychotropic substances at iba pa.

“Under the MOU, the Philippines and Indonesia will establish and maintain channels of communication between their agencies to facilitate the rapid and timely exchange of relevant information,” ayon sa Malakanyang.

Habang ang dalawang MOU ay ang Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in the Field of Technical Vocational Education and Training.

Ang mga signatories ay sina Director-General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Joel Villanueva at H.E. Mr. Anies Baswedan, Minister of Education and Culture.

Ang MOU ay naglalayong i-promote ang mutual cooperation sa edukasyon, training at research.

“Develop benchmarking and comparability of standards and qualifications in priority sectors and conduct capacity-building programs, among others,” ayon sa Malakanyang sabay sabing “Under the MOU, the participants will cooperate on the conduct of joint research, benchmarking and comparability of competency standards and technical qualifications in priority areas: the recognition of education and training credentials and the hosting of symposia, conferences and workshops, among others.” KRIS JOSE
