Sa ipinalabas na Memorandum Circular No. 42 nakasaad dito na “ In view of the organized transport strike, and in order to minimize the inconvenience to the riding public, classes in public and private schools at all levels in Metro Manila are hereby suspended on 20 March 2018. The suspension of classes in other affected areas shall be left to the discretion of their respective local government units. This Circular shall take effect immediately”.

“In view of actual and / or imminent threats posed by some groups, we are suspending classes at all levels in Metro Manila effective today, March 20, to safeguard the safety of students,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.

“The President has instructed that he will suspend classes even with the slightest threat of a strike to ensure the protection and well-being of students,” aniya pa rin.

KRIS JOSE
