Bangis ng Warriors nagbalik

TILA bumalik ang dating bangis ng defending champion Golden State kahit wala si Stephen Curry na nagpapahinga dahil sa knee injury.

Ito’y makaraang padapain ng Warriors ang San Antonio 113-92, sa NBA playoffs.

Umiskor si Klay Thompson ng game-high 27 points habang nag-ambag si

Kevin Durant ng 24 points, eight rebounds at seven assists.

Natuwa naman si Durant sa kabayanihang ginawa ni Thompson.

“We played well. We played hard. We need to do even better next time,” pahayag ni Durant matapos ang kanilang laro.

“Klay knocked down shots. He was really good. He was penetrating as well. We won’t always make shots at that rate but we need to play good defense like that as well.”

Sa iba pang laro, ang Eastern Conference top seed Toronto ay dinurog ang Washington, 114-106, habang sumagupa ang New Orleans sa Portland.

Masaya naman si Raptors star Kyle Lowry sa kinalabasan ng kanilang laro.

Samantala, si John Wall ang nanguna sa Washington taglay ang kanyang 23 points at 15 assists habang nakakuha si Markieff Morris ng 22 points at 11 rebounds para sa kanilang koponan. (GP)
