140 vax sites sa QC ginagamit sa COVID vaccination

Manila, Philippines – Pinalawig ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City ang kanilang vaccination site sa 140 lugar upang mas mabigyan ng proteksyon ang mga residente at manggagawa laban sa COVID.

Sa ulat, ginawang inoculation hubs ang health centers, malls, schools, community venues, churches, at special venues tulad ng Quezon Memorial Circle.

Nagsasagawa rin ng vaccination activities sa subdivisions at private companies, government agencies, at care homes.

Limitadong walk-in slots naman ang mga nasa mall kung saan kakailanganin muna ng stubs at babalik sa oras na itinakda.

Patuloy rin ang home vaccination para sa bedridden at ibang may kapansanan, drive-through sa mall parking lots, at  pharmacy-based services.

“We are expanding and intensifying our vaccination program to accommodate the city’s eligible population, estimated at 2.8 million residents, including 5 to 11-year-olds. The figure does not include the thousands of non-resident workers who also get their shots in the city,” ani Mayor Joy Belmonte.
