Manila, Philippines – Kinumpirma ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na ‘fully compliant’ ang ABS-CBN sa direktiba at isyu ng network tungkol sa mga alegasyong paglabag sa labor standards at occupational safety.
Sa patuloy na pagdinig sa ABS-CBN franchise issue, sinabi ni Labor Undersecretary Ana Dione na nagsagawa sila ng routine inspection mula July hanggang September 2018.
“As a matter of procedure, merong mga series of mandatory conferences na conducted for the purpose of the parties submitting proof of compliance or submitting employment records to disprove noted violations and findings during the inspection,” aniya.
“ABS-CBN has fully complied with all the findings and violations that have been found out during the inspection,” dagdag pa nito.
Bukod pa rito, ipinresenta rin ni Dione ang iba pang labor cases ng ABS-CBN, kasama ang dalawang inter/intra union disputes, limang notice of strikes, apat na preventive mediation cases, at 109 illegal dismissal cases.
Sa 109 illegal dismissal cases, 108 ang naresolba habang nakabinbin ang isa pa.
