“This suspicion accordingly springs from my effort to endeavor the support of some groups to join us in a prayer vigil for reparation following the pronouncements made by Mr. Duterte about our God and our Catholic faith. A former congressman who was kicked out from his party, Akbayan, now a leader of one of the groups I sought fabricated a story that I spoke to him personally and that I was asking him to mobilize 20,000 people for an ouster effort,” ayon sa ipinadalang mensahe ni David sa Radio Veritas.

“I am sending you this message to make it known that I am going through a difficult time and that I wish to ask for your prayers for my safety and that of my family. I cannot fathom why efforts to bring about justice and humanity to our suffering people should be subjected to such threats of harm and perhaps even death. Again please pray that no harm will visit my family. Should any harm happen to me let it be known that it will only come from these people, the Duterte regime and its minions,” ayon pa kay David.
