MANILA, Philippines- Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si dating Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Eduardo Año bilang bagong national security adviser, ayon sa Malacañang nitong Sabado.

Pinalitan ni Año, na nagsilbing kalihim ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa ilalim ng administrasyong Duterte, si Professor Clarita Carlos, na bumaba sa kanyang pwesto para maging bahagi ng Congressional Policy and Budget Research Department (CPBRD) ng Kamara.

Nagbibigay ang CPBRD sa House of Representatives ng technical service pagdating sa paglikha ng national economic, fiscal, at social policies.

“Former DILG Secretary Eduardo Año took his oath before the President as the new National Security Adviser,” pahayag ni Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Garafil.

“Professor Clarita Carlos has decided to continue her pursuit of scholastic endeavors as she joins the Congressional Policy and Budget Research Department (CPBRD) of the House of Representatives. The CPBRD provides the House of Representatives with technical service in the formulation of national economic, fiscal, and social policies,” dagdag niya. Kris Jose
