Arawang COVID growth rate sa NCR bumaba sa -1% — OCTA

Manila, Philippines — Patuloy na bumababa ang COVID-19 growth rate sa Metro Manila kung ibabatay sa arawang kaso, ayon sa OCTA  Research.

Nito lamang, naitala ng Metro Manila ang 15,959 bagong COVID-19 infections.

“This was lower than the reported numbers over the past four days,” ani Dr. Guido David sa Twitter

“In the meantime, the daily growth rate of the 7-day moving average has decreased to -1%, i.e. a negative growth was observed.”

Naitala naman ng bansa ang two-percent growth rate noong Linggo habang ang reproduction number ay bumaba sa 2.67 mula 6.16 noong Enero 6.

 “While this trend is encouraging, suggesting the possibility that cases in the NCR have peaked, the possibility still remains that visibility of the situation in the NCR is clouded because of limitations in testing.”

“We need to monitor the trends in the NCR over the coming week to see if cases decrease further,” patuloy pa nito. RNT/FGDC
