Ex-DILG exec Malaya itinalagang NSC assistant director general

MANILA, Philippines – Itinalaga si dating Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) undersecretary at spokesperson Jonathan Malaya bilang bagong assistant director general ng National Security Council (NSC).

Ikinagalak naman ni NSC Adviser Eduardo AƱo ang pagkakatalagang ito kay Malaya makaraang matanggap niya ang appointment paper nitong Martes, Marso 7.

Matatandaang naging magkatrabaho na ang dalawa sa DILG sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, kung saan si AƱo ang nagsilbing department secretary.

Bago maitala sa NSC, si Malaya ay nagtrabaho bilang senior lecturer sa University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance, kung saan nagturo ito ng kurso sa public accountability, ethics in the public service, metropolitan and regional governance, at public policy.

Siya rin ay naging executive director ng Local Government Development Institute, isang think tank at training institute na nagsusulong ng kagalingan sa lokal na pamamahala.

Nakapaglingkod din si Malaya sa siyam na ahensya ng pamahalaan kabilang ang Office of the President, Department of Education, at Office of the Solicitor General. RNT/JGC
