Manila, Philippines – After a number of months ay muling humarap sa entertainment media si Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chairman Liza Dino upang ireport ang pagtatapos ng year-long celebration ng Centennial of Philippine Cinema na sinimulan noong September 2019.

“All of FDCP’s programs for the month are representative of the agency’s vision and hope of moving forward to the future with Philippine Cinema through innovation, collaboration and solidarity.

“September marks the official closing of the 100 years of Philippine cinema.

“Despite the pandemic, the FDCP wanted to ensure that our efforts will meaningfully honor this once-in-lifetime event through various events, activities and programs all year round,” sabi ni Chair.

“The opening ceremony of ‘Sine Sandaan: The Next 100’ will display our quality stories, films, and narratives going global. The virtual event will conclude through an intimate mini-concert by singer/songwriter Ice Seguerra,” pag-announce pa ng FDCP head.

“Right now, many sectors in industry and our larger community are still facing difficulties in light of the global pandemic.

“We wish for ‘Sine Sandaan: The Next 100’ to be a platform to partner and support stakeholders and organizations and engage them as professionals,” paliwanag pa niya.

Joey Sarmiento
