Manila, Philippines – Inilagay na ng Inter-Agency Task Force ang bansang France sa red list ng Pilipinas, epektibo Disyembre 10 hanggang 15, sa gitna ng banta ng Omicron variant ng COVID-19.
Sinabi ni acting presidential spokesperson at Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles na inaprubahan ng IATF na makasama na ang bansang France sa Red List ng mga “countries /territories/jurisdictions effective December 10, 2021, 12:01A.M. until December 15, 2021.”
Ang France ang pang- 15 bansa na kasama sa red list ng Pilipinas kung saan kinabibilangan ng mga bansa na may natuklasang Omicron variant .
“Passengers who have been to France within 14 days immediately preceding arrival in the Philippines and who arrive on or after 12:01AM of December 10, 2021, but before 12:01A.M. of December 13, 2021, shall be required to undergo facility-based quarantine for 14 days with an RT-PCR test on the 7th day, with day one being the date of arrival. Notwithstanding a negative RT-PCR result, the completion of the 14-day quarantine is required,” ayon kay Nograles.
“Beginning 12:01A.M. of December 13, 2021 until the end of December 15, 2021, entry in any port of the Philippines shall not be allowed for passengers coming from or who have been to France within the last 14 days prior to arrival in the Philippines, regardless of vaccination status,” dagdag na pahayag nito.
Tanging ang mga Filipino na magbabalik- bansa via government-initiated o non-government-initiated repatriation, at Bayanihan Flights ang maaaring payagang makapasok, “subject to existing testing and quarantine protocols for Red List countries/territories/jurisdictions.”
“As with all international inbound travel, the testing and quarantine protocols for minors shall follow the testing and quarantine protocols of the parent/guardian traveling with them, regardless of the minor’s vaccination status. This notwithstanding, children 3 years old and below, regardless of country of origin, shall be exempt from the requirement of presenting a negative RT-PCR test result before boarding the flight, unless symptomatic.”
Sa kabila nito. ang mga pasahero na dumating bago ang Disyembre 10, 2021 at kasalukuyang sumasailalim sa quarantine ay kailangan na kompletuhin ang testing at quarantine protocols simula ng kanilang pagdating.
“All passengers, whether Filipinos or foreigners, merely transiting through France shall not be deemed as having come from or having been to said country if they stayed in the airport the whole time and were not cleared for entry into such country by its immigration authorities. Upon arrival in the Philippines, they shall comply with the applicable testing and quarantine protocols for passengers who have not been to any Red List country/territory/jurisdiction,” pahayag ni Nograles.
Manila, Philippines — Nagpopositibo sa COVID ang nasa 300 overseas Filipinos dumarating araw-araw sa Pilipinas, batay sa Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ).
Ayon kay BOQ Deputy Director Roberto Salvador Jr., ito ay 10 porsyento ng nasa 3,000 arrivals sa bansa bawat araw.
“Tumatanggap ang BOQ ng [positive] result ng RT-PCR ng mga galing sa ibang bansa ng at least 300 per day. Ganun kadami ang sineserbisyuhan ng BOQ every day,” aniya sa Laging Handa public briefing.
“Sa ngayon po ang average natin per day na arrivals, ‘yung capacity natin, is 3,000. Ang nagpopositive every day is close to 300, so approximately, 10 percent to 14 percent ang nagpopositive sa arrivals nating mga Pilipino.”
