“The Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations (COCOPEA) condemns in the strongest terms the deaths of college students John Matthew Salilig and Ronnel Baguio, both of whom were reported to have died due to hazing allegedly conducted in relation to fraternity initiation rites,”  pahayag ng COCOPEA.

Ang Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations ay binubuo ng Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU), Philippine Association of Private Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAPSCU), Association of Christians Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ACSCU), Unified TVET of the Philippines, Inc. (UniTVET) at ng Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP). Jocelyn Tabangcura-Domenden
