“The NBI takes exception to the reported torture, planting of evidence and rape by the NBI – Task Force Against Illegal Drugs (NBI-TFAID) personnel band it’s Chief”, pahayag ng NBI.
“We believe that this issue is related to the three cases filed by NBI-TFAID against the Manio brothers and the PNP-NCRPO-RDEU (Philippine National Police-National Capital Region Police Office-Regional Drug Enforcement Unit),” dagdag pa ng NBI.
“Nonetheless, once furnished with the same, the NBI will answer all the allegations in accordance with the legal procedure in the proper forum. Rest assured that the NBI will continue to unwaveringly perform its mandate in providing quality services to the public,” ayon pa sa ibinahaging pahayag sa mga mamamahayag.
Si Manio ay naghain ng complaint-affidavit sa Office of the Deputy Ombudsman for the Military and Other Law Enforcement Offices laban sa siyam na NBI personnel para sa umano’y “sexual assualt , planting of evidence, torture, graft, incriminating innocent persons and delay in the delivery of detained persons to the proper judicial authorities”.
Gayundin ang kasong administration para sa “serious dishonesty, grave misconduct, oppression, conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service, sexual harassment and violation of the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of Public Officials and Employees.” Jocelyn Tabangcura-Domenden

“The PEZA Board has approved a total of 19 new and expansion projects of ecozone locators and developer/operators expected to bring in P6.393 Billion investments,” ayon sa pahayag ni PEZA officer-in-charge Tereso Panga nitong Miyerkules, Pebrero 1.
“With the positive start of the year, we are bullish with our outlook this year, targeting a 10% investment growth based on the initial locator sector targets,” ani Panga.
“With the inclusion of the ecozone development program in the new Philippine Development Plan, we are positive that more ecozones will be approved and created especially in the countryside,” pagbabahagi ni Panga.
“Ecozones can be shields to soften the landing of the headwinds, the external constraints, and all these global disruptions happening especially during this time. The other side to this is that ecozones can be economic drivers to accelerate economic recovery and growth,” dagdag niya.

“May bagong technology. We just have to make sure na maayos ‘yung listahan.
“We have to start off with the list. ‘Yung list kasi marami ‘yan eh, meron list from PSA, may list from NEDA, may list from DSWD,” dagdag niya.
“Ako, klaro, I plan to work with the existing bureaucracy. May talento, may puso ‘yung mga nasa DSWD,” aniya.
“Hindi kasi ako ganoong klaseng tao. I will work with you as long as you want to get your hands dirty, meaning pare-parehas tayo mag trabaho,” dagdag nito.

“If there is a decision to deport these concerned Japanese nationals, the Philippines will follow the timeline of deportation proceedings in accordance with the Philippine laws,” ani Imperial kasabay ng pre-departure briefing sa Malacañang.
“We feel that this is totally unrelated to the visit of the President. This is a consular matter being handled by the Department of Justice and the Japanese Embassy here and our embassy in Japan with the Ministry of Justice in Tokyo,” pahayag pa ni Imperial.
“We don’t think it will affect, in any way, the visit of the President and we do not expect it to be raised during his meeting with counterpart.” RNT/JGC
