Itinatayong 6-storey PAGASA building, 38% kumpleto na

MANILA Philippines- Nagtutulungan ngayon ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) upang magbigay ng ligtas at modernong opisina para sa PAGASA sa loob ng Science Garden Complex, Diliman, Quezon City.

Sinabi ni DPWH Secretary Manuel M.Bonoan batay sa ulat mula sa DPWH Unified Project Management Office – Buildings Management Cluster, na ang ginagawang six-storey building project na may gross floor area na 8,608 square meters at 38 porsyento nang tapos.

“This new PAGASA building will be able to provide a conducive office facility for our scientists, which they deserve considering their significant role for the protection of life and property,” sabi ni Secretary Bonoan.

Kapag nakumpleto na, ang gusali ay magkakaroon din ng auditorium at karagdagang kuwarto upang komportableng ma-accomodate ang mga personnel ng PAGASA.

Kasama sa saklaw ng mga gawa ng proyekto ang isang reinforced concrete foundation at building frame mula sa ground floor hanggang sa ikaanim na palapag na may roof deck, dry wall, masonry walls, architectural at water proofing works, curtain wall façade, mechanical works, plumbing at sanitary works, drainage system , at mga elektronikong gawa sa kabuuang halaga na P269 milyon.
