“These resulted in enrolling of surrenderees under the Retooled Community Support Program, and we succeeded in that because so many have abandoned armed struggle,” ayon kay Nograles.

“So many former rebels did not only abandon armed struggle but also benefited from free housing, livelihood assistance, skills training. The President will continue these programs until the end of his term,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Matatandaang, iniulat ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), noong Nobyembre 2021, kay Pangulong Duterte na tanging 31 ng 2,318 o 1% ng NTF-ELCAC’s Barangay Development Projects ang kompleto.

Kabilang sa mga proyekto ay ang farm-to-market roads, barangay health stations, school buildings, water sanitation, rural electrification, iba pang infrastructure for reconstruction, rehabilitation and repair, housing projects, agricultural and livelihood at tulong sa mga indigent Filipino.
