Navotas nagpaunlak ng mas maraming tech-voc graduates

MANILA, Philippines- Tinanggap pa ng Navotas City ang 48 technical at vocational graduates mula Navotas Vocational Training and Assessment (NAVOTAAS) Institute.

Dito, 21 ang nakatapos at tumanggap ng  national certification (NC) II para sa mga  Barista, pito sa Housekeeping at 35 para sa  Basic Visual Graphic Design.

“More and more Navoteños see the importance of tech-voc training. Since January this year, 240 have graduated from NAVOTAAS Institute and another batch is set to complete their training this May. We will strive to offer more courses as we prepare for the establishment of the Tanza Airport Support Services,” ani Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco.

Ang Navotas ay may apat na  training centers na bukas sa mga  Navoteño at non-Navoteño trainees.  Ang mga residente ay maaaring makapag-aral ng libre.

Sa NAVOTAAS Institute Main, may mga kursong   Automotive Servicing NC I, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II.

Sa NAVOTAAS Institute Annex 1, ay  Beauty Care NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Dressmaking NC II, Hairdressing NC II at Tailoring NC II.

Ang  training center ay mayroon ding  Japanese Language and Culture II, Korean Language and Culture I (Basic Level), at Korean Language and Culture II (Intermediate Level).

Samantala, NAVOTAAS Institute Annex 2 ay maaaring tumanggap ng nais matuto ng Barista NC II, Beauty Care NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Food and Beverage Services NC II, Hairdressing NC II, Housekeeping NC II and Massage Therapy NC II.

“We have seen the benefits of tech-voc education that is why we built training centers and offered highly-sought courses. We want Navoteños to have more employment and livelihood opportunities through free skills training and TESDA certification,” ani Cong. John Rey Tiangco.

Naglalaan din ang  NAVOTAAS Institute ng   allowances at tool kits sa mga  trainees sa ilalim ng  Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and Special Training for Employment Program, na pinondohan ng   national government sa pakikipagtulungan ng tanggapan ni Cong. Tiangco. R.A Marquez
