NCR reproduction number bumulusok sa 0.91 – OCTA

MANILA, Philippines – Kinumpirma ng OCTA Research Group ang downward trend o ang pagbaba ng kaso ng COVID-19 maging sa pagbaba ng aktibong kaso sa National Capital Region.

Bukod pa rito, nasa 0.91 na lang ang reproduction rate ng NCR, ayon kay OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David.

Ang reproduction rate ay nagpapakita ng bilang ng mahahawaan sa bawat isang kaso. Ang antas na mas mababa sa 1 ay ikinokonsiderang magandang bilang ng World Health Organization.

“NCR reproduction number down to 0.91 for the first time 12.23.21. While this is good news and confirms a downward trend not just in new cases but also in active cases, we have to continue follow health protocols to prevent a reversal of the trend,” saad pa sa Tweet ni David.

Matatandaang sumipa pa sa lagpas 6 ang reproduction rate sa NCR nitong Enero 2.

“This means that active cases may still increase even as new cases have started to decrease, because active cases are a cumulative lf new cases less recoveries and deaths,” aniya pa. RNT
