MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ni Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. na ang iba’t ibang normalization mechanisms ng  Bangsamoro peace process ay maaaring daan para maging ‘model’ ang Pilipinas sa ibang bansa at gayahin ito.

“We (Philippines) will become the model of the world in terms of our peace process,” ayon kay Galvez sa kanyang naging mensahe sa  idinaos na Joint Normalization Committee (JNC) meeting at assessment workshop noong nakaraang Biyernes, Disyembre 2, at pinost sa  OPAPRU Facebook page, araw ng Linggo,  Disyembre 4.

Wika pa ni Galvez, ang mga mekanismo na ito, sa ilalim ng oversight ng Government of the Philippines (GPH) at Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Peace Implementing Panels “aim to transform former Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) combatants and their families into peaceful and productive individuals, and their areas into progressive and resilient communities.”

Ang  peace mechanisms,  nilikha sa ilalim ng normalization track ng  Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), ay kinabibilangan ng JNC, Joint Peace and Security Committee (JPSC), Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB), Coordinating Committee on the Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH), Adhoc Joint Action Group (AHJAG), Task Force for Decommissioned Combatants and their Families (TFDCC), at Joint Task Force on Camps Transformation (JTFCT). Kris Jose
