MANILA, Philippines – Kinumpirma ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) ang planong paglipat sa bagong headquarters sa Mandaluyong City.
Sinabi mismo ni Reynold Munsayac, tagapagsalita ni Vice President Sara Duterte, na “naghahanda silang lumipat” sa bagong opisina, na “kayang tumanggap ng lahat ng co-term, casual, at permanenteng empleyado ng OVP.”
“This will enhance efficiency, economy, and result in streamlined processes since all the OVP employees are within the same area. The new location will also be more accessible to the public due to its proximity to major roads and mass transportation facilities,” ani Munsayac.
Sa kanyang kapasidad bilang pinuno ng ahensya, pinananatili rin ni Duterte ang isang opisina sa Department of Education sa Pasig City, na malapit sa Mandaluyong.
Pinasalamatan ni Munsayac si Mayor Joy Belmonte at ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City sa kanilang kahilingan na gamitin ang Quezon City Reception House, na siyang punong tanggapan ng OVP sa ilalim ng dating VP Leni Robredo.
“Unfortunately, after inspection and human resource inventory, OVP has decided to look for another location that can fully satisfy its requirements,” aniya pa.
