P10B tapyas sa badyet ng SUCs sa 2023 pinalagan

MANILA, Philippines – Pinalagan ng isang youth-led mass organization ang tapyas na P10-bilyon sa budget ng mga state universities and colleges (SUCs) sa 2023 national budget.

“Lawmakers should not only pressure schools to act on implementing this, but they must also push for the increase in [the] budget for education for this to materialize. Without adequate funding, SUCs cannot strengthen its social services and holistically prepare for the return of students,” pahayag ng Gabriela Youth, Sabado ng gabi, Oktubre 1.

State College, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, University of Northern Philippines, Batanes State College, Bulacan Agricultural State College, Batangas State University, Cavite State University, at Tarlac State University.
