P25 minimum wage hike sa Northern Mindanao, aprub na!

MANILA, Philippines – Aprubado na rin ng Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board V (RTWPBs) ang petisyon para sa minimum wage hike ng mga manggagawa sa Northern Mindanao.

Ayon kay Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III, ipapatupad ang P25 na dagdag-sweldo oras na maging epektibo ang kautusan habang P15 hanggang P22 sa December 16, 2022.

Sa kabuuan ay papalo na sa P405 ang sweldo ng mga nasa non-agriculture sector habang P393 naman para sa mga nasa agriculture sector.

Ayon kay Bello, nasa 152,924 mga manggagawa sa private establishments at 54,851 domestic workers ang inaasahang mabebenipisyuhan ng dagdag-sahod sa rehiyon.

“The new minimum wage rate in the cities of Oroquieta and Tangub and the municipalities of Laguindingan, Mambajao, Balingasag, and all other areas, including retail and service establishments employing not more than ten workers, are P390 for the non-agriculture sector and P378 for the agriculture sector,” pahayag ni Bello.

“The Board also issued RBX-DW-03 granting a monthly wage increase of P500 for domestic workers bringing the new monthly minimum wage rate in the region to P4,500 for cities and first-class municipalities and P3,500 for other municipalities,” dagdag pa niya.
