P8.9B badyet ng OP sa 2023, aprub na sa Senado

MANILA, Philippines – Inaprubahan na ng Senado nitong Huwebes, Nobyembre 10 ang proposed P8.9 bilyon na budget ng Office of the President para sa 2023.

Kabilang sa inaprubahan ay ang P4.5 bilyon na confidential at intelligence funds.

Sa nangyaring pagdinig, tanging si Senate Minority Leader Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III lamang ang gumisa sa budget ng OP.

Kabilang sa tinutukan ni Pimentel ay ang CIF kung saan kinwestyon niya kung kailangan ba talaga ang paglalaan ng bilyong piso na pera para sa intelligence fund ng naturang opisina gayong mayroon namang mga security agency ang naatasan para sa kahalintulad na trabaho.

Target niya rin sana na bawasan ang CIF na hinihiling ng OP.

Sa kabila nito, sinabi naman na aprubado ang proposed budget ng mga opisina sa ilalim ng OP maliban sa Presidential Management Staff.

Samantala, narito pa ang mga ahensya na naaprubahan na rin ang kanilang proposed budget para sa 2023.

-Department of Energy

Ikinunsidera na rin na aprubado ang budget ng mga sumusunod na ahensya dahil walang senador ang nais na kumwestyon dito:
