PH-China partnership sa solar-powered irrigation project tinatarget

MANILA, Philippines – Target ng bansa na makipagtulungan sa China para sa pagbuo ng isang solar-powered irrigation project.

Ito ang sinabi ng Department of Agriculture kung saan sa ngayon ay pinaplantsa pa ng ahensya ang iba pang impormasyon kaugnay ng naturang proyekto na bubuuin sa pamamagitan ng government-to-government project scheme.

“We are drafting the possible engagement with China so hopefully by next year, we can submit a request to conduct a feasibility study to Neda (National Economic and Development Authority),” ayon kay Agriculture Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa.

Aniya, umuusad na ito kasabay ng request ng bansa ng potential collaboration sa China sa mga nakaraang buwan.

“It was forwarded to us by Neda,” aniya.

“We formed a team that will be handling the proposed solar powered irrigation system,” dagdag pa nito.

Ngayong buwan din, naglabas na ng kautusan ang DA sa pagbuo ng preparation team na tututok sa paghahanda sa proposed solar power irrigation system project kasama ang China.

Pinangalanan ni De Mesa ang mga miyembro nito kung saan siya ang team leader, ito ay sina: Ernesto Brampio, hepe ng Water Resources Management Division ng Bureau of Soils and Water; Noemi Carpio, Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Engineering’s chief of Engineering Plans, Designs and Specifications Division; Angelita Martir, officer-in-charge (OIC) ng Special Projects Coordination and Management Assistance Division ng DA at Rowel del Rosario, OIC ng Project Identification and Evaluation Division Project Development Service.

“All expenses to be incurred in the conduct of related activities for the Project shall be chargeable against their respective offices, subject to the existing government accounting and auditing laws, rules, and regulations,” saad sa kautusan na pinirmahan ni Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban.
