Pinas hihiram ng $400M pa sa World Bank laan sa COVID recovery

Manila, Philippines – Magpapahiram pa ang World Bank sa Pilipinas ng $400 milyon para sa ‘policy reforms’  ng pagrekober sa epekto ng COVID pandemic.

Sa dokumento ng development policy loan (DPL), binubuo ito ng 11 upcoming loans na nagkakahalaga ng $1.93 bilyon.

Kasama sa ibang loan ang $250 milyong Mindanao transport connectivity improvement project; $200 milyong second financial sector reform development policy financing; $200 milyong fisheries and coastal resiliency project; $178.1 milyong multisectoral nutrition project; at $150 milyong sustainable, inclusive at resilient tourism project.

Kasali rin sa paaprating na World Bank loans ang $140-milyong Agus-Pulangi hydropower complex rehabilitation project 1; $110 milyong teacher competitiveness and competencies enhancement project; $100 milyong alternative learning system project; $100 milyong digital transformation project; at $100 milyong Mindanao inclusive agriculture development project.

Samantala, ipinakita rin sa World Bank report ang implementasyon ng $600 milyong loan para sa 4Ps o Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino program ng Pilipinas. RNT/FGDC
