Plenary debates sa proposed P5.268T budget sa 2023, tinapos na ng Senado

MANILA, Philippines – Tinapos na ng Senado ang plenary debates kaugnay ng proposed P5.268 trilyon na budget para sa 2023 nitong Biyernes ng madaling araw, Nobyembre 18.

Ito ay makaraang matapos na ng Mataas na Kapulungan ng Senado ang pagdinig para sa 2023 General Appropriations Bill bandang 1:41 ng madaling araw, halos dalawang linggo makaraan itong isponsoran noong Nobyembre 8.

Kasabay ng huling araw ng plenary debates, inapribahan na ang budget ng mga sumusunod na departamento at ahensya sa ilalim ng bersyon ng Senado sa GAB:

Matapos ang serye ng interpulasyon sa 2023 GAB, ipapakilala na ng mga senador ang komite at kani-kanyang pag-amyenda sa naturang panukala.

Makalipas nito ay aaprubahan na ito sa ikalawa at ikatlong pagbasa.

Dahil naman sa sinertipikahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang 2023 GAB bilang “urgent” ay pinapayagan ang Senado na aprubahan ikalawa at ikatlong pagbasa ng naturang panukala sa magkaparehong araw.

Sa oras na ito ay maaprubahan na, tutuloy na ang mga mambabatas sa bicameral conference upang magkasundo kasama ang House of Representatives sa kanilang bersyon ng GAB.

Matatandaan na noong nakaraang linggo, sinabi ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri na plano nilang ipasa sa huling pagbasa ang proposed 2023 national budget sa Nobyembre 23 at ratipikahan sa pagtatapos ng buwan. RNT/JGC
