MANILA, Philippines- Binigyang-diin ni  Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.  ang kahalagahan ng pagpapalakas at paglikha ng relasyon sa ibang estado.

Naniniwala kasi si Pangulong Marcos na  ang transformation ng world economy at post-pandemic recovery  ay depende sa ‘partnership’ nito sa ibang bansa.

Inihayag ito  ni Pangulong Marcos sa harap ng mga foreign dignitaries na nakiisa sa kanyang vin d’honneur  sa  National Museum of Fine Arts.

“It has become very clear and I think that I may be repeating myself to some of you as I have spoken with you before but I still believe that the transformation of the world economy and our recovery from the pandemic will be dependent on our partners and our allies. And it will be those partnerships that will strengthen that recovery, that will make a more balanced and stable new global environment for us to work in,” ang bahagi ng  talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos.

“I cannot think of a better beginning to a new administration than to be able to have determined the partnerships and strengthen the relationships between our countries and that is something that we will work with very very clearly,” aniya pa rin.

Ikinatuwa naman ni Pangulong  Marcos  ang “common advocacy” ng lahat ng foreign dignitaries sa pagtugon sa climate change, sabay sabing ang usaping ito ay napakahalaga  dahil na rin sa Pilipinas ay   nasa  “most vulnerable position” kumpara sa ibang bansa.

“I was especially struck by the importance that all of your countries have come to put on climate change. I believe that it was unanimous that all the ambassadors, all the representatives from the different countries who I have met with have each made offers of help in terms of mitigation and adaptation to climate change,” ayon sa Chief Executive.

“We have seen and it has been proven to us very clearly in the past weeks and months how interconnected the world is now, how interconnected the economies are, how interconnected the political systems are, how interconnected our cultural and educational relationships are. We can only go from here to strength, and to strength, and to strength,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Samantala, pinangunahan din ni Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See to the Philippines at Dean of the Diplomatic Corps,  ang Most Reverend Archbishop na si  Charles John Brown  ang ‘toast” para batiin ang bagong Pangulo ng Pilipinas.

“The Filipino people have placed their trust and their hopes in you, the hopes for a future that is prosperous, safe, equitable and just,” ayon kay Brown.

“I know that I speak for all the diplomats gathered here with you this afternoon when I say that we too, in the international community, harbor the same hopes for your presidency and for your nation and that we pledge our cooperation and our collaboration with your administration in achieving the success of your mandate,”  ayon pa rin sa apostolic nuncio.

Kagaya sa mga nakaraan,  sinabi ni  Brown  na mayroong mga kahaharaping hamon ang  incoming administration subalit bitbit ni Marcos ang “an extensive experience of many years in governmental service” at ang kanyang panawagan na pagkakaisa  ay umalingawngaw ng malalim at malawak sa sambayanang filipino.

“For these reasons, you begin your term as president with a strong note of hope and confidence in the future,” dagdag pa ng apostolic envoy.

Sa kabilang dako, may ilan namang foreign dignitaries  ang nakiisa sa inagurasyon ni Pangulong Marcos bilang ika-17 Pangulo ng Pilipinas.

Kabilang naman sa mga  foreign officials na dumalo ay sina US Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Australian Governor-General David Hurley, Vice President Wang Qishan of China, Vice President Võ Th? Ánh Xuân of Vietnam, at Thailand Deputy Prime Minister Don Pramudwinai. Kris Jose

MANILA, Philippines- Nangako ang bagong Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary na si Erwin Tulfo nitong Huwebes na ie-extend ang kontrata ng lahat ng DSWD workers na natanggap sa ilalim ng Contract of Service (COS).

Sa kanyang talumpati sa DSWD turnover ceremony, pinasalamatan ni Tulfo si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa pagpayag na siya ay maglingkod, at sinabing tinatanggap niya ang hamon.

“Tinatanggap ko ang hamon. Alam ko na ang trabahong ito ay trabaho para pagsilbihan ang ating mga kababayan na mahihirap. Isa pong misyon, ika nga po gargantuan task, na we lead to succeed na hindi lang po gampanan ang misyon, kundi maging successful tayo sa misyon na ito. Bawat isa sa atin ay may misyon na paglingkuran ang mga mahihirap. Kailangan ko po ang tulong ninyong lahat,” aniya.

Bilang unang aksyon bilang Social Welfare and Development Secretary, tiniyak ni Tulfo na ie-extend ang kontrata ng COS workers ng DSWD na nagsimulang magtrabaho sa ahensya para sa implementasyon ng mga espesyal na serbisyo at proyekto.

“Dahil gusto po ng ating Pangulo na walang maiiwan. Ang sinasabi po na pandemic recovery ang lahat po ay kasamang umangat, walang maiiwan. Kaya po kung may matatatanggal po eh di maiiwan po yun. Kaya sisiguraduhin ko pong walang maiiwan, lalong lalo na po sa DSWD,” ayon kay Tulfo.

Gayundin, pinasalamatan ni Tulfo si outgoing DSWD Secretary Rolando Bautista para sa kanyang pamumunod sa kasagsagan ng COVID-19 pandemic at iba pang kalamidad. RNT/SA

MANILA, Philippines- Nangako si  Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na tatapusin niya “sa tamang oras” ang  infrastructure projects sa panahon ng kanyang administrasyon.

“We will continue to build, I will complete on schedule the projects that have been started. I am not interested in taking credit. I want to build on the success that’s already happening. We will be presenting the public with a comprehensive infrastructure plan, six years could be just about enough time,” ayon  kay Pangulong Marcos  sa kanyang inaugural speech  matapos ang kanyang oath-taking sa National Museum sa Maynila, araw ng Huwebes.

Bago pa ilarawan ang kanyang  infrastructure plan,  pinuri ni Pangulong Marcos ang kanyang ama , ang namayapa at dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at ang kanyang predecessor na si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte, para sa pagtatatag  ng  mas marami at maayos na lansangan kumpara sa mga administrasyon bago ang mga ito.

“My father built more and better roads. Produced more rice than all administrations before his. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte built more and better than all the administrations succeeding my father’s,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.

“Much has been built and so well that the economic dogma of dispersing industry to develop the least likely places has been upturned. Development was brought to them. Investors are now setting up industries along the promising routes built. And yet, the potential of this country is not exhausted,” dagdag na pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Samantala,  tiniyak naman ni Pangulong Marcos  na wala ni isa mang bahagi ng bansa ang  mapababayaan.

MANILA, Philippines- Mapayapa at napakatagumpay ang lahat ng mga plano sa seguridad sa inagurasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong’ Marcos Jr,ayon sa pamunuan ng Manila Police District (MPD).

Bukod dito, wala ring iniulat na anumang kaguluhan o untoward incidents sa makasaysayang panunumpa ng bagong pangulo ng Republika ng Pilipinas.

“Very peaceful and very successful, all security plans were carried to the letter and no untowards incident reported as of this time” ayon kay MPD spokesperson Major Philipp Ines base na rin aniya sa ipinadalang mensahe ni MPD Director P/Brig Gen. Leo Francisco.

Katuwang ng mga kapulisan ng MPD,at mula sa NCRPO, ang mga idineploy na mga tauhan mula sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Metro Manila Development Authority(MMDA), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno sa pagpapatupad ng kaayusan at mahigpit na seguridad sa inagurasyon.

MANILA, Philippines Hinihintay pa ng Department of Health (DOH) ang abiso at payo mula sa Office of the Executive Secretary kung sino ang itatalagang officer in charge ng ahensya sa pagpapalit ng administrasyon.

Ang pahayag ng DOH ay dahil wala pang na naitatalang kalihim ng DOH si Pangulong Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.

“The DOH awaits further advice and instructions from the Office of the Executive Secretary as to the OIC/Head of Agency upon transition into the new administration.”

Ang DOH ay naharap sa maraming batikos at kontrobersya sa gitna ng paglaban at pagtugon sa pandemya dulot ng COVID-19.
