“The estimate is around 400, between 400 and 500,” ani Al-Thawadi kay Morgan. “I don’t have the exact number. That’s something that’s been discussed.”
Naglabas ang Qatari Supreme Committee spokesman ng pahayag nitong Martes na “there were 3 work-related deaths and 37 non-work related deaths connected to the 8 stadiums, 17 non-competition venues and other related sites under the SC’s scope.”
“Separate quotes regarding figures refer to national statistics covering the period of 2014-2020 for all work-related fatalities (414) nationwide in Qatar, covering all sectors and nationalities.”
“One death is a death too many—plain and simple,” sabi ni Al-Thawadi told Morgan.
“The shackles that once held our forebears may no longer constrain us, but we must remain vigilant in protecting our country from social ills and other elements that threaten our liberties,” giit ni Marcos.
“I call on my fellow Filipinos to honor Bonifacio’s life of extraordinary selflessness by becoming dutiful and law-abiding citizens who will contribute towards a brighter and freer future for all Filipinos,” patuloy niya.
Pinarangalan ni Marcos si Bonifacio, at sinabing ang mga ideya ng huli ang dahilan na “our heroic ancestors were able to muster the will and the courage to fight their oppressors thereby paving the way to our motherland’s eventual emancipation.”
“Indeed, it was his deeds that provided the impetus for our collective liberation, which we are challenged to preserve and protect amidst these trying times,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
“His spirit lives on in the stories we tell and use to build on his legacy, breathing new life into his words with our sense of duty and patriotism.”
Dumalo rin dito sina National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) Chairman Rene R. Escalate at Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Bartolome Vicente Bacarro.
Andres Bonifacio National Monument, Caloocan City;

“I think [President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.] has paved the way for that future trajectory of where we’re going. So, he’s saying, ‘Let’s just continue dialoguing, constructive dialogue, and the like, and diplomacy,’” ani National Security Adviser Clarita Carlos.
Aniya pa, “You don’t choose. Play smart. Define what your goals are as a nation. Play your game well. This is now a new Philippines. A newfound confidence about who we are.”
Para naman kay dating Ambassador at dating Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Rosario Manalo, diplomatic solutions ang daan upang mapigilan ang paglala ng kasalukuyang state of affairs.
“The value of diplomacy when it comes to the blue economy is to prevent war. War brings about the end of our existence,” giit ni Manalo.
“There are three modes of settling disputes. The first one is called the diplomatic process… the second is through legal action… and the third is through arbitration,” dagdag ng dating ambassador.
Gayundun, ikinalungkot ni Philippine National Police (PNP) General at ngayo’y Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong na ang kanyang lungsod ay “impacted indirectly by the ongoing issue of the West Philippine Sea.”
“The only way we will be able to resolve the issue is through dialogue, constant dialogues, low-key dialogues. Besides, our only objective there is to allow our fishermen to go to that area and proceed with their livelihood. And second, probably a joint exploration on the oil. There was a study made by the US Geological Survey stating therein that there are about a billion barrels of oil and trillion natural gas in the West Philippine Sea,” giit ni Magalong.
Ayon naman kay dating Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, kinakailangan ng “a lot of skilled diplomacy to solve that, but one thing is undeniable – the livelihood of our fisherfolk is primary because this is survival for them.”
Inihayag ni Teodoro na ang “multilateralism basically is really important in the sense that it prevents a stronger country, in theory, from bullying a smaller one. Now, having a bilateral approach would mean the more powerful one will prevail.”
“So, the balance will be we continue to develop our capabilities in creating a credible deterrent against expansionism, but we continue to pursue those activities which can redound mutually to the benefit of our interests of both people, particularly economically,” aniya.
“The P20 was really the goal, the dream… We are continuing with the transfer payments that we have began with,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.
“We are going to widen the scope of the Kadiwa so it is now… the Kadiwa was always conducted at an LGU level, individually. (Now, it is a) national program,” wika pa ng Pangulo.
“I’m hoping that we can… it looks like baka naman swertehin,” dagdag na pahayag ng Punong Ehekutibo.
“There are new technologies that address the problems that we are facing, and those technologies are beginning to be disseminated down to the local farmers,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos sa hiwalay na mensahe.
“The pandemic and the situation in Ukraine have been a glaring reminder of how fundamental the agricultural sector is and food supply not only in the Philippines but to the entire world,” dagdag na pahayag nito.
Tinuran pa ng Pangulo na ang agricultural technologies ay isinulong kahit pa maharap sa panganib ang rice crops mula sa “higher fertilizer prices and challenges in water management.”
“And as I’ve said, it gives me hope to see the research that we were doing is headed exactly in those directions that we feel are going to be necessary — that we have to develop further,” ayon sa Pangulo.
“The IRRI is the world’s premier research organization dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger through rice science; improving the health and welfare of rice farmers and consumers and protecting the rice-growing environment for future generations,” ayon sa ulat. Kris Jose
