‘Very high’ COVID growth rate naobserbahan sa Davao Occidental, Camiguin — OCTA

Manila, Philippines – Patuloy na tumataas ang kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa 13 probinsya, batay sa OCTA Research Group.

Giit ni OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David, ang COVID-19 growth rates sa Davao Occidental (85 percent) at Camiguin (78 percent) ay nasa “very high” sa nagdaang linggo.

Naobserbahan din ang positive one-week growth rates sa Bukidnon (22 percent), Cotabato (3 percent), Davao del Norte (2 percent), Guimaras (5 percent), Maguindanao (5 percent), Sarangani (26 percent), Siquijor (3 percent), South Cotabato (25 percent), Sultan Kudarat (11 percent), Tawi-Tawi (33 percent), at Zamboanga del Norte (8 percent).

Habang ang COVID-19 risk classification ng Iloilo City ay nasa “very high risk” din base sa pinakabagong monitoring.

Samantala, naitala rin sa Metro Manila ang 724 bagong kaso ng COVID kahapon.

“This is good particularly as this is not a Tuesday or Wednesday. Actuals in the NCR [National Capital Region] are now below our Jan. 20 projections again, headed towards less than 500 [cases] by V-Day [Valentine’s Day].”

Paalala ni David sa publiko, ipagpatuloy ang pagsunod sa safety protocol upang mapanatili ang downward trend ng kaso ng COVID. RNT/FGDC
